Submission Beyond Limits is my printable / downloadable digital workbook for empowered s-types looking to build power exchange skills, elevate kink negotiations, and craft authentic personalized paths in consensual BDSM dynamics. A kinky guided journal that goes beyond the 101, designed with love by vahavta (me!) for both partnered and single submissives.

That’s the short pitch. Now have the long one!

After a decade immersed in power dynamics and bottoming, dozens of kink classes taught virtually and internationally, and all the many messages I’ve exchanged with people on their own journeys – both very similar and very different to my own – I understand how frustrating it can be to find guidance that truly resonates with YOUR unique journey. Too often, the resources out there assume a one-size-fits-all approach to being an s-type and go from there. That’s why I poured my heart into crafting a resource that I wish had existed when I was just starting out – a resource that honors the uniqueness of each individual’s journey and provides the tools and support needed to thrive on the submissive side of the slash.

Submission Beyond Limits isn’t just another workbook or big yes/no/maybe list with a few generic “what does submission mean to you?” style questions – it’s a roadmap to self-discovery, empowerment, and fulfillment. In 170+ pages, this workbook is full of tips, planning sheets, and journal prompts, and though you will find a yes/no/maybe list or two and questions around what submission means to you, you’ll also find resources to uncover…

🔍 Deep insights into your motivations, helping you to find clarity and direction in your journey and avoid pitfalls of fears or frenzies
💬 Techniques for communicating with D-types more effectively in order to foster deeper connections, as well as to offer clear, constructive feedback that leads to more fulfilling experiences
🛡️ Strategies to navigate challenges like drop or misunderstandings with confidence, focusing on your well-being every step of the way.
🚧 Tools for setting the kinds of boundaries that might come up with power exchange dynamics, protocol, and play
🔗 Guidance on crafting processes to manage negotiation, scene prep and aftercare, ongoing dynamics and their maintenance, and your ongoing growth and education – including worksheets you can fill out and share with your partner(s)
📈 Exploration questions and logs to help you refine skills and keep track of your learning over time

Who is this good for?

  • Both newbies and seasoned players, currently partnered or not – it’s designed to be very flexible and offer multiple options throughout
  • People who are familiar with basic kink vocabulary or are willing to do the Googling on such things on their own
  • People who like to reflect, dive deep, think, and write stuff down

What won’t I find?

  • A whole lot of new essays. There is some information and guidance throughout, but this isn’t meant to replicate or replace my writings – it’s a workbook for you.
  • Erotica, unless you consider self-reflection, type-A planning, and deep-dives into your desires and needs to be erotica in which case yeah this is absolutely erotica
  • Much on relationship styles like polyamory/monogamy – though such things might come up in some of the worksheets, this focuses largely on power exchange and bottoming skills

You can currently get the digital and/or print-at-home workbook. This will come in the form of fillable PDFs or as usable in GoodNotes or whatever other app you like (along with instructions on how to do this)… or it could be printed and put into a binder (or bound nicely with some spiral thingy from Kinko’s or whatever if you don’t mind them seeing what is being printed (does Kinko’s still exist?)). I’ll even send a version for people who want to print at home that is built for better ink optimization (as the digital one does have some solid black backgrounds at parts and probably isn’t great for that!) (Kindles and e-readers can be sent PDFs and if you have a “scribe” style device, you can write right on it – but it isn’t yet available on Amazon specifically for Kindle Scribe. That’s something else I hope to have in a month or two, and if you do get the digital version and later want that, I’ll send you that for free.)

It is my intention to soon sell a physical version, but I want to have enough time to test the printers and be sure you’re going to get a quality product so I’m not ready to sell that just yet. Because I am not sure about the costs of this yet, I can’t currently put any kind of price up on it. But if you do get the digital and later want the printed one, I’ll offer some sort of small discount there (I sadly can’t do that for free because it has to cover the paper/shipping expenses.)

There’s also an optional instructions for D-types edition created together by my partner and myself, aiming to offer ideas for how to best use the workbook pages as “assignments” and ways that you can better develop your dynamic through shared access to these files – but if you’d rather figure that out on your own, that’s cool too. And as mentioned before, it’s built to be fully usable even if you are not currently partnered. (In fact, it might really help to better determine what you want and how to prep and vet for that.)

Finally, there will be future add-ons. At the very least, I know that I will have a service manual/”butler’s book” section that’s yet to be made. And yeah – I’m disabled, and I am making this partially so that I can better focus on my writing, making more free resources, and existing without wondering where my health insurance funding is coming from.

So if you’re so inclined, you could choose to get the Sustainer’s Version, which will get you digital copies of all the future additions, instructions for D-types, exclusive bimonthly emails where I show you my own filled-out pages and explain what I wrote where and why, and monthly “office hours” where you can come hang out with me, do some pages together, and ask me basically anything you want.

So that’s that for now. My lil’ ad. You can see some of the pages in that image I posted and on the Etsy listing, if you want. I’m open to any questions at all you have on it below, and I’d really appreciate your crumbs on this either way. If you want to just know when the full thing is out, you can subscribe to my Substack here (and I’m sure I’ll post then on Fet, also!)

I’m not going to stop creating free resources. This is partially so that I can continue to. I love writing. I love teaching (and attending my classes will be one way to get a few relevant pages). I love talking to others about their journeys and talking to them about mine. I love diving deep. And if you do too, and are ready to empower yourself or your partner to fully lean into using personal desires and strengths to become the s-type you/they want to be, I hope you’ll consider getting Submission Beyond Limits here.
